Leaving tomorrow. Not packed. Submitted my last paper yesterday and not sure what to do with my brain. Found out yesterday my grandma is sick....sails are lacking all prior semblance of wind now.

Fun fact: One of my papers was on polygamy and HIV in sub-Saharan Africa and one of the studies I looked at was conducted in this place called Kagera in TZ. Apparently only 20 miles away from where I'll be. Maybe I'll visit?

Ew Fact: on Google Maps, the first major landmark I saw, other than the airport, was the Sewage Treatment Plant. Just hanging out on the waterfront, outside the city. My Lake Victoria "frolicking on the lake shore" plans have now been contaminated. *sad*
